ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., July 13 (UPI) -- Luke Scott bashed a two-run homer and also provided a go-ahead RBI single Saturday, rallying the streaking Tampa Bay Rays over Houston 4-3.

The Rays spotted the Astros a 3-0 lead in the first inning but later clawed their way back, tying it in the fifth on Scott's blast and an RBI bunt single from Desmond Jennings.

In the next inning, Wil Myers notched a two-out single against Lucas Harrell (5-10), stole second, and came home when Scott lined a 2-1 pitch into right field for a run-scoring hit.

Roberto Hernandez (5-10) earned the victory, allowing three runs on six hits over six innings. He walked one and struck out six.

Jake McGee and Joel Peralta each tossed an inning of shutout relief and Fernando Rodney racked up his 22nd save for the surging Rays, who improved to 11-2 in July.

Ben Wallace cracked a two-run homer for Houston.
