The Marlins scored seven times in the first two innings off Stephen Strasburg. Miami has won back-to-back outings on the heels of a five-game losing streak.
Strasburg (5-7) had lost just once in his last 10 starts, but was roughed up for five hits with four walks in his two innings of work.
Miami sent 10 men to the plate in the first inning. Ozuna's triple cleared the bases, after which he scored on a single by Derek Dietrich. A base hit by starting pitcher Nate Eovaldi brought in Dietrich later in the inning.
Strasburg left the game after Stanton hit his second-inning homer. The two-inning appearance matched the shortest of his major league career.
Eovaldi (2-0) allowed three runs in the first, but he recovered and survived six innings to get the win.
