BALTIMORE, July 12 (UPI) -- Home runs by Chris Davis, Adam Jones and J.J. Hardy accounted for all the Baltimore scoring Friday and brought the Orioles an 8-5 win over Toronto.

Baltimore won its third in a row thanks to the long balls that created an 8-3 lead through six innings.

Davis hit a two-run blast in the second to create a 2-2 tie and get the Baltimore offense going. It was his 35th of the season, tops in the majors.

Jones produced a three-run shot in the third and Hardy added a three-run homer in the sixth.

Chris Tillman (11-3) worked six innings for the win, allowing three runs on eight hits and five strikeouts. The runs allowed by Tillman came on homers by J.P. Arencibia and Edwin Encarnacion.

After Baltimore's Tommy Hunter Lind gave up two runs in the ninth, Jim Johnson came on to throw one pitch and record the final out of the game for his 32nd save.

The loss went to Mark Buehrle (5-6), who gave up all eight runs on nine hits in six innings.
