BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., July 7 (UPI) -- Benny Feilhaber and Graham Zusi each scored an early goal Sunday and Sporting Kansas City went on to a 2-1 victory over Chicago.

Feilhaber got Kansas City (8-5-6) off to a quick start in the 6th minute when he got to a loose ball in the box and fired a shot past Chicago goalkeeper Paolo Tornaghi.

Then just 2 minutes later, Zusi doubled the advantage when his crossing pass found its way into the upper corner of the net.

The result temporarily pulled Kansas City into a tie with Montreal atop the Eastern Conference standings with 30 points.

Mike Magee tallied in the 38th minute for the Fire (6-8-3).
