WASHINGTON, July 4 (UPI) -- Wilson Ramos returned from the disabled list to drive in five runs Thursday in the Washington Nationals' 8-5 win over Milwaukee.

Ramos drove in two runs with a bases-loaded single in the sixth inning to give the Nationals a 5-2 lead. The Brewers made it 5-5 in the seventh, with a solo home run by Yuniesky Betancourt and a two-run shot by Carlos Gomez, but Ramos restored the three-run advantage in the bottom of the seventh with a three-run home run.

Washington reliever Drew Storen (3-2) surrendered both sixth-inning homers but got the win after Ramos -- who had been on the disabled list since the middle of May with a strained left hamstring -- homered off of Milwaukee reliever Brandon Kintzler in the seventh.

Tom Gorzelanny (1-1) took the loss in relief.

Ian Desmond and Jayson Werth each had three hits and scored two runs for Washington.
