MLB: New York Yankees 3, Minnesota 2

MINNEAPOLIS, July 3 (UPI) -- New York came from behind Wednesday to give CC Sabathia his 200th career victory in the Yankees' 3-2 decision over Minnesota.

Sabathia (9-6) allowed two runs on seven hits and struck out nine in seven innings. He has not lost any of his last 12 starts against the Twins.

The Yankees overcame a 2-0 deficit with a three-run sixth. Robinson Cano doubled in two runs to tie it and Lyle Overbay put New York in front with a sacrifice fly.

Mariano Rivera came on in the ninth to pick up his 28th save.

Minnesota lost its fourth in a row, the setback going to P.J. Walters (2-5). He gave up the three runs on four hits over five-plus innings.
