MLB: New York Mets 4, Atlanta 3

ATLANTA, June 20 (UPI) -- Josh Satin's third career RBI broke a seventh-inning tie Thursday and pushed the New York Mets to a 4-3 victory over Atlanta.

Satin came on as a pinch-hitter for New York reliever LaTroy Hawkins and his double to right off Mike Minor brought in Omar Quintella with what turned out to be the winning run.

The other three New York runs came on solo homers -- two by David Wright and one from Andrew Brown.

Satin, who played sparingly with the Mets during each of the last two seasons, was called up last week from Class AAA Las Vegas. This was his sixth game of the year and the RBI was his first of the season. His only other two major league runs batted in came in 2011, when he played in 15 contests.

Hawkins (2-0) was credited with the win after blanking the Braves in the sixth and seventh innings. He allowed two hits and struck out two. Bobby Parnell turned in a perfect ninth for his 11th save.

Minor (8-3) surrendered all four New York runs on nine hits in six innings to take the loss.
