MLB: Atlanta 6, San Francisco 5

ATLANTA, June 15 (UPI) -- Freddie Freeman singled home the game-winning run Saturday, capping a ninth-inning rally that sent the Atlanta Braves past San Francisco 6-5.

Trailing 5-4 entering their final at-bat, the Braves began their comeback when pinch-hitter Evan Gattis drew a one-out walk from Giants closer Sergio Romo (3-3) and Andrelton Simmons reached on shortstop Brandon Crawford's fielding error.

Justin Heyward singled to load the bases and Romo then issued a base on balls to Justin Upton, scoring pinch-runner Reed Johnson with the tying run and pushing Simmons to third.

That brought up Freeman, who sent a single to right for a walk-off game-winner, snapping Atlanta's four-game losing streak.

B.J. Upton clubbed two homers and Craig Kimbrel (2-1) earned the decision for the National League East leaders.

Tony Abreu went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored and Hunter Pence knocked in a pair for San Francisco.
