CINCINNATI, June 8 (UPI) -- Cincinnati's Mat Latos remained unbeaten with seven solid innings and Joey Votto supplied the go-ahead RBI Saturday in the Reds' 4-2 decision over St. Louis.
Latos (6-0) turned in his third straight quality start, yielding two runs on eight hits. The right-hander did not issue a walk and struck out five.
Jonathan Broxton hurled a scoreless eighth and Aroldis Chapman logged his 16th save as Cincinnati evened its three-game series.
With the score tied 2-2 in the sixth, Derrick Robinson led off with a double against Cards starter Tyler Lyons and Votto followed with another two-bagger, putting Cincinnati ahead to stay.
Votto later scored on one-out a single by Devin Mesoraco.
Jay Bruce went 2-for-4 with a solo homer for the Reds.
Lyons (2-2) was tagged for four runs on six hits in a 5 1/3-inning effort.
Allen Craig and Jon Jay supplied RBI for National League Central-leading St. Louis.
