SEATTLE, June 5 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez drove in four runs Tuesday to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 7-4 win over the slumping Chicago White Sox.

Ibanez went 2-for-4 and homered in Seattle's three-run first inning off Chicago's Jake Peavy (6-4), who left the game with sore ribs after 2 1/3 innings.

Peavy gave up six runs on seven hits and took the loss in the White Sox's eighth consecutive loss.

Felix Hernandez (7-4) got the win for a solid start that limited Chicago to four runs on six hits over 7 1/3 innings.

Adam Dunn had a solo home run for the Sox, who had a total of seven hits and ended a seven-game streak in which they scored three runs or fewer.
