ANAHEIM, Calif., June 5 (UPI) -- Albert Pujols drove in three runs Tuesday in the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's 4-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
Pujols drove in one run with a sacrifice fly and then blasted a two-run, go-ahead home in the eighth inning that nailed down the victory and got the Angels back on track after being swept in a four-game series with the Houston Astros.
It was the first home run for Pujols since May 23 and consigned Carlos Villanueva (1-4) to the loss.
Howie Kendrick accounted for the other Los Angeles run. Robert Coello (2-1) was credited with the win for his scoreless eighth inning.
Chicago led 3-1 after three innings but Los Angeles scored a run in the seventh and two in the eighth to grab the victory.
