Duffy Waldorf fires 5-under 67 for second-round Principal lead

DES MOINES, Iowa, June 1 (UPI) -- Duffy Waldorf will seek his first career seniors tour win after firing a third-round 5-under 67 Saturday for a one-shot lead at the Principal Charity Classic.

Waldorf ended 32 holes at 8-under-par 136, one stroke better than a pair of competitors at the Wakonda Club.

Knotted in second place at minus-7 were Bart Bryant (8-under 64) and Jay Don Blake (66).

Sole possession of fourth place at 6-under 138 went to Russ Cochran (67).

Peter Senior (65), Michael Allen (67), David Eger (68), Loren Roberts (69) and Tom Lehman (70) were tied for fifth at minus-5.
