Jazz's Williams to have heel and tendon surgery

SALT LAKE CITY, May 31 (UPI) -- Utah Jazz forward Marvin Williams will have surgery Monday to repair his right heel and Achilles tendon.

Williams is expected to need about six months to recover from the operation.

He averaged 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in 73 games last season. He started 51 games.
