Moreland bounced a shot off the right-field foul pole for his 11th home run of the season to finish off a four-run third inning. Murphy hit his seventh an inning later.
The Rangers had two-run rallies in the second and fifth innings in building a 9-0 lead and went on to break a three-game losing streak. Every batter in the Texas lineup had at least one hit, with Jurickson Profar leading the way with three.
The early barrage came off Arizona starter Brandon McCarthy (2-4), who had given up just one run in his previous three outings but was roughed up for six runs -- all earned -- and nine hits in 2 2/3 innings.
Justin Grimm (5-3) collected the win, allowing eight hits and three runs in six innings, while striking out three and not walking a batter.
Arizona had four consecutive hits in scoring three runs off Grimm in the sixth and added two more in the seventh. Martin Prado drove in runs in both innings.
Arizona's Paul Goldsmith had four hits, including a double -- the only extra-base hit for the Diamondbacks, who totaled 13 singles.
