NEW YORK, May 30 (UPI) -- Miami's LeBron James and Indiana's David West and Lance Stephenson have each been fined $5,000 for "flops" during a recent playoff game, the NBA said Thursday.

James and West were fined for their actions on the same play with about 4 minutes left in Tuesday's game. The players made contact as James tried to defend West and both ended up on the floor.

Stephenson was called out for an attempt to draw a foul call late in the first quarter. He hit a jump shot but overreacted to what was seen as incidental contact.

Indiana ended up winning the game 99-92 and tying the best-of-seven Eastern Conference final at two games each. Game 5 is scheduled Thursday.
