Cornet, who was runner-up at Strasbourg last year, won 24 of the 31 points played in the second set and ended the day with a 7-6 (7-4), 6-0 triumph heading into next week's French Open.
Cornet won the tie-breaker in the second set when her Czech opponent double-faulted at 4-5 and then sent her forehand into the net.
"It was a very tight first set -- we were both serving very well and we didn't break each other much," said Cornet. "The second set went way faster because everything she had been putting on the lines in the beginning started to go out."
Cornet improved to 3-3 in career championship matches while Hradecka fell to 0-6.
