NHL: Los Angeles 3, San Jose 0

LOS ANGELES, May 24 (UPI) -- Jonathan Quick made 24 saves in the Kings' 3-0 defeat of the San Jose Sharks Thursday, giving Los Angeles a 3-2 lead in the Western Conference semifinal series.

Quick's seventh career playoff shutout brought the Kings their 13th consecutive home win.

The Sharks had beaten the Kings in back-to-back games in San Jose. Los Angeles aims to finish the series with a Game 6 win in San Jose Sunday.
