SAN FRANCISCO, May 22 (UPI) -- A walk-off home run by Pablo Sandoval in the 10th inning Tuesday gave the San Francisco Giants a 4-2 win over the visiting Washington Nationals.

Sandoval hit a one-out blast to center field off Yunesky Maya (0-1) after Marco Scutaro singled to nail down the second win in a row for the Giants.

Sandoval, Scutaro and Buster Posey all had two hits. Gregor Blanco went 3-for-5 with the game-tying RBI. Jeremy Affeldt (1-0) grabbed the win in relief.

Ryan Zimmerman and Ian Desmond drove in the Nationals' two runs.
