NEW YORK, May 14 (UPI) -- Portland guard Damian Lillard was a unanimous selection to the NBA All-Rookie first team, the NBA said Tuesday.

Lillard, the sixth overall pick out of Weber State in the June 2012 draft, was also a unanimous choice as the league's Rookie of the Year. He averaged 19.0 points and 6.5 assists over 82 games last season.

Washington's Bradley Beal and New Orleans' Anthony Davis each came within one point of being unanimous choices to the All-Rookie first team. The other members of the first team are Cleveland's Dion Waiters and Golden State's Harrison Barnes.

The NBA All-Rookie second team was made up of Detroit's Andre Drummond and Kyle Singler, Toronto's Jonas Valanciunas, Charlotte's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Cleveland's Tyler Zeller.

The NBA's 30 head coaches vote for the All-Rookie team. They list five players on each for the first and second team but cannot vote for their own players.
