The tight end enjoyed his best season last year for the Super Bowl champions, hauling down 61 passes for 669 yards and seven touchdowns in regular-season play.
He also scored three TDs and racked up 163 receiving yards in the playoffs.
Over the last two seasons, Pitta has made 101 grabs for 1,074 yards and 10 touchdowns, emerging as one of quarterback Joe Flacco's favorite receivers.
