HOUSTON, May 12 (UPI) -- Adrian Beltre went 4-for-5 with a three-run homer and four RBI Sunday, powering the Texas Rangers to a 12-7 win and a three-game sweep of Houston.
Leury Garcia added three hits with an RBI and scored four runs while David Murphy and Leonys Martin also bashed homers for the Rangers, who built a 12-1 lead and then hung on for the victory.
Elvis Andrus went 3-for-4 with two runs scored for American League West-leading Texas.
Nick Tepesch (3-3) allowed one run on four hits over six innings, striking out eight en route to the victory.
Astros starter Jordan Lyles (1-1), meanwhile, was torched for eight runs on 11 hits over just four full frames.
Chris Carter smacked a three-run homer while Jason Castro and Brandon Barnes also went deep for Houston.
