MINNEAPOLIS, May 12 (UPI) -- Wei-Yin Chen hurled five shutout innings and the Baltimore Orioles cracked three homers Sunday in their 6-0 whitewash of Minnesota.

Chen (3-3) scattered five hits and didn't allow a walk, striking out three en route to the victory.

Chris Davis pounded a three-run homer while Adam Jones and Steve Pearce also went deep as the O's rapped out 11 hits in taking the rubber match of a three-game series.

Nick Markakis went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Manny Machado provided three hits for the winners.

Twins starter Scott Diamond (3-3) was lit up for six runs on nine hits in a 5 2/3-inning effort.
