OAKLAND, Calif., May 11 (UPI) -- Tony Parker and Tim Duncan combined for 55 points Friday, fueling a rejuvenated San Antonio effort that lifted the Spurs over Golden State 102-92.

After fading away against the Warriors in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinal series on Wednesday, the Spurs grabbed a 2-1 lead and regained home-court advantage. Golden State will host Game 4 on Sunday.

San Antonio overcame a sluggish start to take a nine-point lead after one quarter and successfully fought off Golden State comeback bids for the rest of the game.

The Warriors trailed by only five points with 1:40 to play, but the Spurs closed out the game on a 7-2 run.

Parker scored 32 points while making 13-of-23 from the field and Duncan had 10 rebounds to go with his 23 points. San Antonio shot 50 percent from the field and cooled off Golden State's normally hot shooting tandem of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Curry and Thompson teamed to make just 13-of-37 field goal attempts. Thompson scored 17 points and Curry had 15.
