CATALUNYA, Spain, May 11 (UPI) -- Mercedes will be parked in the front row of the Spanish Grand Prix after teammates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton won Saturday's qualifying run.

Rosberg was quickest around the 1.892-mile course with a time of 1 minute, 20.718 seconds to claim his second pole in as many Formula One races.

"It all went perfectly in qualifying, and I had a really good lap at the end," Rosberg said. "I'm really happy with that."

Hamilton zoomed around the 16-turn circuit 0.254 seconds slower than Rosberg. He was trailed by Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull and Kimi Raikkonen of Lotus.
