MLS: New York 1, New England 1 (tie)

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., May 11 (UPI) -- Lloyd Sam scored an equalizing goal in the 55th minute Saturday and the New York Red Bulls kept an unbeaten streak alive with a 1-1 against New England.

On the play, Andre Akpan sent a pass that found Sam inside the penalty area and he neatly put a shot inside the far post for New York (6-4-3), which stretched its undefeated streak to five games.

The goal came less than minute after Diego Fagundez had given the Revolution (2-4-4) a 1-0 lead, scoring after his first shot had been cleared off the line by Red Bulls defender Kosuke Kimura.
