SAN FRANCISCO, May 11 (UPI) -- Brandon Belt's two-run double highlighted a six-run fourth inning Friday that launched San Francisco to an 8-2 clubbing of Atlanta.

The Giants produced seven of their 11 hits in the fourth while sending 11 men to the plate. All of the runs were given up by Tim Hudson (4-2), who was finally removed 10 batters deep in the inning.

San Francisco's first five batters had hits in the fourth with the first two RBI coming on Buster Posey's double and Hunter Pence's single. Belt then doubled to right to score both Posey and Pence and the onslaught continued with an RBI single by pitcher Matt Cain and a two-run base hit from Marco Scutaro.

Cain (2-2) struck out seven over eight innings and gave up two runs on three hits to pick up the victory.
