MLB: Atlanta 6, San Francisco 3

SAN FRANCISCO, May 10 (UPI) -- Freddie Freeman's RBI Thursday sparked a four-run fifth inning that brought the Atlanta Braves a 6-3 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Brian McCann hit a two-run homer in the second inning and added an RBI in the fifth, which also saw RBI from Andrelton Simmons and B.J. Upton in the first of a four-game series at AT&T Park.

Julio Teheran (2-0) allowed just three hits in seven innings, staking the Braves to their fourth victory in five games.

Buster Posey contributed a two-run homer for the Giants, who have lost three of their last four.
