NBA: Miami 115, Chicago 78

MIAMI, May 8 (UPI) -- Ray Allen led Miami with 21 points in 19 minutes Wednesday and the Heat rolled to an ill-tempered, 115-78 rout of Chicago that tied their playoff series.

Six technical fouls were called on the Bulls, including two each on Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson. The second technical foul on each player came early in the fourth quarter, resulting in their ejection from the contest.

Despite the one-sided setback, the Bulls head home with the Eastern Conference semifinal series deadlocked at 1-1. Chicago pulled off an unexpected 93-86 victory in the opening game of the series and will host the next two contests Friday and Monday.

Miami shot 60 percent from the field and made 9-of-18 from 3-point range.

LeBron James added 19 points with nine assists and, with the game having turned into a blowout, he sat out for about a third of the contest. Dwyane Wade and Norris Cole both had 15 points for the Heat.

Miami held the Bulls to 35 percent shooting and forced 19 turnovers.

Marco Belinelli led Chicago with 13 points. Noah had 12 before his ejection.
