LOS ANGELES, May 8 (UPI) -- Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning Tuesday to give the Arizona Diamondbacks a 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Goldschmidt broke a 3-3 tie with his seventh homer of the season to consign the Dodger to their sixth consecutive loss.

Brandon League (0-2) served up the fateful pitch after walking Gerardo Parra with one out.
David Hernandez (2-2) was credited with the win and Heath Bell recorded his second save. Arizona won for the third time in four games.
Nick Punto had two hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs.
