CARSON, Calif., May 6 (UPI) -- Andrew Driver scored the game's only goal in the 56th minute Sunday, lifting the Houston Dynamo over Los Angeles 1-0.

Driver's tally came on a left-footed blast from outside the box after collecting a cross from Giles Barnes.

Tally Hall made two saves for Houston (5-2-2), which climbed into a four-way tie atop the Eastern Conference with 17 points, sharing first place with New York, Sporting Kansas City and Montreal.

The Galaxy, tied for second in the West, fell to 4-3-2.
