Dimitrov caps Madrid Open day with win
THE WOODLANDS, Texas, May 4 (UPI) -- Gene Sauers seized the second-round lead of the Insperity Championship Saturday, carding a 6-under-par 66 for a two-shot advantage.
Sauers, seeking his first Champions Tour title, finished 36 holes at 8-under 136.
Meanwhile, overnight leader Mike Goodes ended the second round with sole possession of second place at minus-6 with a second consecutive 3-under 69.
Grabbing third place at 3-under was Loren Roberts, who also registered a 69 at The Woodlands Country Club.
Following two shots further back were Peter Senior (70) and Esteban Toledo (71).
