MLB: Chicago White Sox at Kansas City, ppd., weather

KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 3 (UPI) -- Friday's American League game between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals was postponed because of poor weather in Kansas City, Mo.

Temperatures were expected to be in the mid 30s with rain Friday evening, leading Royals officials to postpone the game. It is to be played at 2:10 p.m. EDT Monday.

Rain mixed with snow led to a postponement of the Royals' game Thursday against Tampa Bay.
