NBA: Memphis 103, Los Angeles Clippers 93

LOS ANGELES, May 1 (UPI) -- The Memphis Grizzlies topped the Los Angeles Clippers 103-93 Tuesday to come within a victory of advancing to the next round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Zach Randolph scored 25 points and Marc Gasol added 21 for the Grizzlies, who can close the first-round series out on Friday when they host the Clippers in Game 5.

Randolph also had 11 rebounds and Gasol grabbed eight.

Chris Paul scored 35 for Los Angeles, but was the only Clipper to score in double figures. Four of Memphis's five starters were in double figures.

The Clippers led 28-26 after the first period, but Memphis outscored Los Angeles in the next three quarters to maintain control.
