OAKLAND, Calif., April 29 (UPI) -- Golden State's Stephen Curry fired in 31 points Sunday, sparking the Warriors to a 115-101 win over Denver and a 3-1 lead in their first-round playoff series.
Curry shook off a sore ankle to put in 22 of his total in the third period after netting just seven points in the first half of the Western Conference quarterfinal contest.
Curry dished off seven assists while Jarrett Jack contributed 21 points and nine assists as the Warriors logged a third straight win following a Game 1 loss.
Carl Landry supplied 17 points for Golden State, which will look to close out the series Tuesday in Denver.
The winner will go on to face San Antonio in the conference semifinals -- the Spurs completed a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday.
Denver got 26 points and six assists from Ty Lawson.
Andre Iguodala had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Nuggets.
