KANSAS CITY, Kan., April 28 (UPI) -- Rodney Wallace scored the tie-breaking goal in the 58th minute Saturday, providing the difference in Portland's 3-2 decision over Sporting Kansas City.

Wallace sped in on goal after receiving a pass from Diego Chara, shook off Chance Myers and got a shot past Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen, snapping a 2-2 deadlock.
