Rosol and Guillermo-Lopez reach Bucharest finals

BUCHAREST, Romania, April 27 (UPI) -- Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic ousted three-time champion Gilles Simon in straight sets Saturday to reach the finals of the Nastase Tiriac Trophy in Romania.

Rosol will compete for his first career win on the pro tour when he faces Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain in Sunday's championship match.

Garcia-Lopez advanced Saturday with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 semifinal win over defending champion and No. 5 seed Florian Mayer of Germany. Garcia-Lopez has two tour titles under his belt but will be playing in his first finals since 2010.
