NHL: Florida 5, Tampa Bay 3

April 27, 2013 at 10:08 PM

TAMPA, Fla., April 27 (UPI) -- Tomas Fleischmann scored twice, including the decisive tally late in the game, and Florida wrapped up its season with a 5-3 win over Tampa Bay Saturday.

Fleischmann's goal with 6:07 remaining broke a 3-3 deadlock and sent the Panthers to a victory to conclude an otherwise disappointing season, in which they finished with a 15-27-6 record.

Nick Bjugstad, Scottie Upshall and Marcel Goc scored and Jacob Markstrom turned aside 28 shots for Florida.

Martin St. Louis and Matt Carle provided the offense for the Lightning, who finished the lockout-shortened 2012-13 campaign with a 18-26-4 mark.

Anders Lindback stopped 27-of-31 shots.
