CHICAGO, April 27 (UPI) -- Nate Robinson scored 23 points in the fourth quarter Saturday and the Chicago Bulls went on to beat Brooklyn 142-134 in triple-overtime for a 3-1 series lead.

The Bulls were trailing by 14 points with just under 3 minutes left in regulation but Robinson almost single-handedly got them back into the Eastern Conference quarterfinal contest with a spectacular late outburst.

The Bulls point guard came off the bench to put in 12 straight points down the stretch, eventually ending with 34 before fouling out in the second overtime.

Joakim Noah (15 points, 13 rebounds, four blocks) hit a jumper to start the third overtime and the Bulls never trailed after that.

Carlos Boozer contributed 21 points and eight rebounds while Kirk Hinrich chipped in with 18 points and 14 assists for Chicago.

Deron Williams pumped in 32 points and dished off 10 assists but also turned the ball over seven timed for the Nets. Brook Lopez added 26 points and 11 rebounds while Joe Johnson scored 22 for Brooklyn.
