Carlota Ciganda seeks first 1st win after grabbing 2-shot Texas lead

IRVING, Texas, April 27 (UPI) -- Carlota Ciganda put herself in position for her first tour win Saturday, firing a 5-under 66 for a third-round lead at the inaugural North Texas LPGA Shootout.

Ciganda finished at 11-under-par 202, two shots clear of the field at Las Colinas Country Club.

World No. 1 Inbee Park (4-under 67) and second-round leader Caroline Masson (69) shared second place at 9-under.

Na Yeon Choi was in fourth thanks to a third-round 66.

Jee Young Lee (67), Christina Kim (67), Karine Icher (67) and So Yeon Ryu (68) shared fifth at 6-under.
