SEATTLE, April 26 (UPI) -- Brandon Mauer and two relievers combined on a seven-hit shutout Thursday, giving the Seattle Mariners a 6-0 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.

Mauer (2-3) allowed just two hits to Texas in his previous outing, but both of those turned out to be homers and he eventually took the loss.
