MLB: Chicago White Sox 5, Tampa Bay 2

CHICAGO, April 26 (UPI) -- Chris Sale struck out seven over seven innings Thursday and Adam Dunn hit a two-run homer to bring the Chicago White Sox a 5-2 decision over Tampa Bay.

Chicago produced a three-run first inning and held on for its second straight victory.

Sale (2-2) gave up two runs on four hits. Addison Reed worked around a leadoff single in the ninth to claim his seventh save.

The White Sox sent seven men to the plate in the first inning, with Jeff Keppinger's double bringing home one run, Paul Konerko's single driving in another and Conor Gillespie finishing the scoring with a sacrifice fly.

Dunn's home run came in the sixth off starter Jeremy Hellickson (1-2) after Alex Rios had drawn a walk to open the inning.
