VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 23 (UPI) -- Daniel Sedin
registered a goal and an assist Monday, boosting the Vancouver Canucks to a fifth straight division crown with a 3-1 victory over Chicago.
Twin brother Henrik Sedin added two helpers while Jannik Hansen and Zack Kassian each found the net for Vancouver, which claimed the Northwest Division with an eighth straight home win.
Cory Schneider turned aside 24-of-25 shots en route to the win.
Dan Carcillo scored and Corey Crawford made 29 saves for the Blackhawks, who own the NHL's best record and top Western Conference seed at 34-6-5 (73 points).
The setback snapped Chicago's steak of 11 straight road games without a regulation loss.
