NBA: Chicago 90, Brooklyn 82

NEW YORK, April 22 (UPI) -- Joakim Noah scored nine of his 11 points in the fourth quarter Monday, leading the Chicago Bulls over Brooklyn 90-82 to even their first-round playoff series.

Noah, who was playing with a right foot injury, also grabbed six of his 10 rebounds down the stretch and added two blocks for the Bulls, who bounced back from a Game 1 loss in their Eastern Conference post-season series.

Fifth-seeded Chicago also got 15 points, 10 boards and two blocks from Luol Deng while Carlos Boozer added 13 points and 12 rebounds in the victory.

Brook Lopez provided 21 points with three blocks and Joe Johnson chipped in with 17 for the Nets, who fell short in a bid to take a 2-0 playoff series lead for the first time since 2004.

C.J. Watson also reached double figures with 10 points for Brooklyn.
