NHL: Toronto 4, Ottawa 1

OTTAWA, April 21 (UPI) -- James Reimer stopped 49-of-50 shots Saturday and the Toronto Maple Leafs clinched a playoff spot with a 4-1 win over Ottawa.

Reimer turned aside 16-of-17 shots in the middle frame as James Van Riemsdyk was notching his 17th and 18th goals of the season for the Maple Leafs, who secured their first post-season appearance since 2004 while ending a two-game skid.
