MLB: Washington 7, New York Mets 6

NEW YORK, April 20 (UPI) -- Bryce Harper bashed two homers Saturday, including a late tie-breaking solo shot that propelled Washington to a 7-6 win over the New York Mets.

Harper's eighth-inning blast off Josh Edgin (0-1) put the Nationals ahead after John Buck's RBI double in the preceding half-inning had produced a 6-6 deadlock for New York.
