MLB: Cincinnati 11, Miami 1

CINCINNATI, April 19 (UPI) -- Todd Frazer finished off Cincinnati's 12-hit attack with a two-run homer Thursday that highlighted the Reds' 11-1 mauling of Miami.

Cincinnati scored four times in both the fourth and fifth innings to turn the game into a rout and the Reds went on to win their fourth in a row. Miami has just three victories in 16 games this season.

Zach Cozart had an RBI in both the big innings, helping starter Tony Cingrani pick up an easy win in his major league debut.

Cingrani (1-0) struck out eight in five innings, giving up a run on five hits and three walks.

Jose Fernandez (0-1) lasted four innings, allowing five runs on six hits in the loss.

Cozart singled home the last of Cincinnati's four runs in the fourth and he also drew a bases-loaded walk in the fifth. Chris Heisey contributed to the fifth inning outburst with a two-run single.
