NBA: Toronto 114, Boston 90

TORONTO, April 18 (UPI) -- DeMar DeRozan poured in 24 points Wednesday in sending Toronto to a 114-90 rout of Boston.

The Raptors ended the regular season with their fifth straight victory, but with a 34-48 record will miss out on the playoffs for the fifth consecutive year.

Boston wound up as the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference and will visit New York to open the playoffs.

Rudy Gay added 19 points and nine rebounds for the Raptors.

Jordan Crawford scored 16 points for Boston, which along with Indiana finished its regular season having played one fewer game than originally planned. The Celtics-Pacers game scheduled for last Monday in Boston was canceled due to the Boston Marathon bombings.

Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry both sat out the contest for the Celtics while resting for the post-season.
