NBA: Los Angeles Clippers 112, Sacramento 108

SACRAMENTO, April 18 (UPI) -- Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford combined for 49 points Wednesday, enabling the Los Angeles Clippers to fight off Sacramento 112-108.

Chauncey Billups made four free throws in the final 16 seconds to help the Clippers hold on and earn the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference with a 56-26 record. The Clippers will take on Memphis in the opening round of the playoffs.

Paul hit 11-of-20 and scored 25 points. Crawford made six 3-pointers while piling up his 24. The Clippers ended the regular season with seven straight victories.

Los Angeles overcame a 36-point effort from DeMarcus Cousins, who also hauled down 23 rebounds.

Sacramento closed out the campaign with four straight losses and posted a 28-54 record -- third worst in the West.
