CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 18 (UPI) -- Kemba Walker's 24 points Wednesday lifted Charlotte out of the NBA cellar and brought the Bobcats a 105-98 win over Cleveland.

Charlotte managed to finish one game in front of Orlando, avoiding the worst mark in the league by capturing its last three games.

Cleveland and Charlotte combined for 45 victories this season, 21 fewer than the number of wins posted by Miami.

Josh McRoberts had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Bobcats, who closed out the season at 21-61.

Kyrie Irving scored 24 points for the Cavaliers (24-58), who lost their last six games.
