MILWAUKEE, April 17 (UPI) -- A grand slam home run by Yuniesky Betancourt helped power the Milwaukee Brewers to a 10-8 victory over the visiting San Francisco Giants Tuesday.

Betancourt homered in an eight-run third inning that ended with the Brewers leading 9-3. Milwaukee and San Francisco both totaled a dozen hits, but the Brewers came away with the win that ended a three-game losing streak.

Brandon Kintzler (2-0) earned the win in relief of Wily Peralta, who lasted four innings. Jim Henderson picked up his second save of the season.

Barry Zito (2-1) took the loss for the Giants, who had won six of their previous seven games. Pablo Sandoval drove in four runs on two hits. Brandon Crawford supplied a solo home run.
